Hydroton is used in Net Cups or Flood and Drain Trays as an inert, REUSABLE media for the roots to anchor on. It has no fertilizer in it at all. The perfect round shape insures better drainage than Rock Wool preventing problems like root rot.

Made of clay with high water storage properties and balanced capillary action to accelerate plant growth.
