TEFLON TRANSDUCER The Teflon coated transducer (this one has it, most don't) is a must, it prevents build-up on the transducer (the little thing that moves to make the mist) don't be fooled by these cheap ones without the teflon!!

MAINTENANCE:

Cleaning your Aeromist should be done every 90 days or less to prevent build-up from damaging the unit...this is simply done by placing the Aeromist in a glass of WHITE VINEGAR and running the unit for 30 seconds to a minute. This caused all the mineral deposits from the nutrients to shed right off. A replacement of the TEFLON DISC every 6 months to a year is recomended to maintain proper mist output. As the disc wears the mist output decreases..if you ever notice any decrease in fog, clean and if still low fog then replace the disc. The units can run for years of uninterrupted service if maintained properly.
